Profectus has a brand new requirement for one of our leading clients who are looking for a skilled Service Delivery Manager / Deputy MES Contract Manager in Oxford to support the successful delivery of their Managed Equipment Services (MES) contract. As second-in-command to the MES Contract Manager, you'll be key in overseeing operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This role will also involve supporting the maintenance of complex medical equipment such as CT scanners and Linear Accelerators.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day MES contract operations, ensuring equipment availability and timely service delivery.
- Coordinate planned maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
- Based mainly in and around Oxford but travel to sites in Swindon & Milton Keynes will be required.
- Act as a main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, including NHS guidelines.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring targets are met.
- Assist with budget management and cost control.
- Provide leadership to the MES team and step into the Contract Manager role when needed.
- Identify and implement operational improvements.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Engineering or clinical background, preferably in Diagnostic / Radiotherapy.
- Strong communication, IT (Excel, MS 365), and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing or supporting large-scale contracts in healthcare / NHS environment.
- Knowledge of medical equipment management and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage client relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- Willing to travel to other NHS sites (all within circa 1 hour).
