Profectus Recruitment is partnering with a well-established professional services firm to recruit a 1st / 2nd Line Engineer. This newly created role will provide IT support across multiple offices, assisting around 100+ users and supporting wider technology projects. The role will initially be based in High Wycombe, with regular travel to other offices. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assist the IT service desk and escalate issues where required
- Support system implementations, onboarding, office moves, and user training
- Help develop reporting, including Power BI dashboards, and support adoption of new technologies
- Contribute to knowledge management, internal resources, and documentation
- Assist with technology improvement initiatives, cyber security awareness, and AI adoption
About You
- Previous experience in IT support or service desk roles
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Confident communicator able to support non-technical users
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Interest in technology improvement, reporting, or automation a plus
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
