Profectus Recruitment is proud to be supporting a highly regulated financial services company to recruit an IT Governance Specialist. This role will play a key part in shaping and embedding enterprise-wide IT governance, ITSM practices, and technology risk controls as the business continues to mature its operational and regulatory landscape. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building pragmatic governance, improving how IT services operate day-to-day, and working closely with stakeholders across technology, risk, security, audit and the wider business. Culture is important: you’ll be joining a collaborative, stakeholder-led environment where influence and relationship building are as important as technical capability. Hybrid working: 2 days per week on-site.
Responsibilities
- Strong experience in IT governance, IT service management or technology risk within financial services or another highly regulated environment
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Asset Management) and how to embed them effectively
- Experience working with ITSM tools and workflows (automation desirable, HALOITSM beneficial)
- Comfortable owning audit actions, responding to findings, and working with internal/external audit teams
- Experience producing governance, risk and compliance MI to drive continuous improvement
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and challenge constructively
