Profectus have partnered with a well-established IT solutions provider in Oxfordshire who is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join their team. This full-time, on-site role involves planning, engineering, and managing IT projects to optimise client systems, ensuring smooth implementation and top-notch client service. Ideal for an experienced IT professional with a background in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking working face-to-face with customers proposing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support project planning, documentation, and management alongside the Projects Manager
2. Collaborating with stakeholders, provide progress updates, and ensure project milestones
3. Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues
4. Infrastructure Maintenance
5. IT Experience: 3+ years in IT, with demonstrable experience in project work
6. Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
7. Windows Server Knowledge: Experience with on-premise systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP with failover, and Hyper-V for virtualization
8. Networking Skills: Strong understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, switching, routing, and VLAN configuration
9. Firewall and Security: Solid grasp of hardware firewall principles and single sign-on (SSO) and identity management basics, with experience in Password management software
10. Scripting and Automation: Confident with PowerShell for automation and configuration tasks
11. Paid training and development

Full UK driver’s license is essential and access to own vehicle for site visits (company mileage reimbursed)
