Profectus Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a Cyber Consultancy who are recruiting for a Business Development Manager. The key element and must have for this BDM role is experience in Digital Forensics. The client is ideally looking for 5 years experience in Digital Forensics; however, we are able to flex and consider BDMs with 2+ years DF experience. Additionally, prior experience solving Public Sector challenges would be advantageous.

As the BDM you will play a pivotal role in advancing the clients position in the public sector. You will collaborate closely with decision makers, drive business development initiatives, solidify client relationships and identify new opportunities to enhance market presence and achieve incredible growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, creating a strong initial impression and establishing the groundwork for lasting professional relationships.
  • Proactively engage in outbound outreach to discover and qualify new business opportunities using phone, email, social media and innovative prospecting techniques.
  • Attend meetings with public sector organisations to uncover current challenges, explore collaboration potential, and position tailored solutions that address their needs.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organisations, working closely with the wider sales team.
  • Develop and implement targeted business development and marketing strategies to drive growth across both public and private sector markets.
  • Take the lead in crafting and delivering compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations, ensuring communication is tailored to resonate with each audience.
  • Monitor industry trends and client concerns to suggest campaign ideas and initiate meaningful, insight-led conversations.
  • Keep detailed records of outreach efforts and manage lead progression effectively through the CRM system.
