Profectus Recruitment are working with a leading Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations organisation to recruit a Senior Digital Forensic Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected forensic investigations team, supporting complex digital investigations across computer and mobile device examinations within a secure, quality driven environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high quality digital forensic investigations and reporting across a variety of client cases, while supporting laboratory operations, peer review activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations across computers and mobile devices
  • Complete complex forensic examinations and produce detailed technical reports
  • Support defence and bespoke forensic investigations
  • Carry out peer reviews of forensic casework
  • Assist with client meetings and technical scoping discussions
  • Deliver internal and external training where required
  • Support quality, validation and auditing processes within the laboratory

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience within Digital Forensics investigations
  • Excellent knowledge of forensic methodologies and industry best practice
  • Experience with leading forensic examination tools and software
  • Understanding of ACPO guidelines, ISO17025 and FSR standards
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and report writing ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations

Additional Requirements

  • Degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science or related discipline preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum 5 years UK residency due to vetting requirements
  • Ability to pass security clearance procedures
