We are looking for an experienced Senior Cabling Engineer to join an installation team delivering network infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of network cabinets and primary/secondary containment systems.
- Installation and termination of Cat6/Cat6A structured cabling.
- Copper patching and network switch installation.
- Installation, termination and testing of fibre optic cabling, including pit and duct routes.
- Fibre circuit patching and fault finding, including use of OTDR equipment.
- Testing and certification of copper and fibre cabling using Fluke testers.
- Working to RAMS, project installation methods and site H S requirements.
- Completing QA documentation, daily reports and relevant site paperwork.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and keeping work areas safe and tidy.
- Supporting and supervising installation activities where required.
