We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a project delivery team supporting a range of complex technology and business change initiatives. This role will act as the key link between stakeholders, project teams and technical delivery teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood, documented and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and stakeholder interviews
- Produce key project artefacts including requirements documents, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Translate business needs into clear, testable specifications for technical teams
- Analyse current and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Support solution design, testing, implementation and user adoption activities
- Work closely with project managers, developers, architects and testers throughout the project lifecycle
- Support benefits tracking, risk assessment and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst within a complex IT environment
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills
- Experience working within Agile and/or traditional project delivery frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills
- Experience working within ITIL or IT Service Management environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- BCS Business Analysis, Agile BA or similar certification desirable
