Launch Your Career in Technology Sales

Our client is building the next generation of physical security technology, combining AI-native body-worn cameras with an intelligent, cloud-hosted platform that helps organisations detect risks, capture evidence and respond to real-world incidents. Following the launch of the UK sales operation, we are looking for several ambitious graduates to join as Sales Development Representative interns. This is a genuine entry point into a technology sales career. You will receive hands-on training, work closely with experienced members of the business and learn how to identify prospects, open conversations and generate qualified sales opportunities. The initial internship will last three months. Those who perform strongly may be offered a permanent BDR position with significant pay rise.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Your main objective will be to start conversations with prospective customers and book qualified discovery meetings for the sales team.
  • Research target organisations and identify relevant decision-makers.
  • Contact prospective customers by telephone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Confidently explain the company’s proposition and generate interest.
  • Ask effective questions to understand a prospect’s needs.
  • Qualify potential opportunities and book discovery meetings.
  • Work towards a target of 25 qualified meetings per month.
  • Maintain accurate records of your conversations and activity.
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to improve messaging and campaigns.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s technology and target markets.
  • Learn the core skills required to build a successful career in B2B sales.

What We’re Looking For

  • You are likely to be a recent graduate who has deliberately chosen sales as the career you want to pursue. Previous sales experience is not essential. We are much more interested in your attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • You should be genuinely motivated to begin a career in sales.
  • Confident speaking to new people, particularly over the telephone.
  • Articulate, personable and able to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Proactive and comfortable taking the initiative.
  • Resilient enough to handle rejection and keep moving forward.
  • Competitive, target-driven and motivated by results.
  • Curious, coachable and keen to improve.
  • Organised and able to manage a high level of daily activity.
  • Interested in technology, AI or physical security.
  • Able to work from our London office four days per week.

A strong academic record is preferred. We would also like to hear about any evidence of ambition, competitiveness or achievement outside your studies, whether through employment, sport, university societies, entrepreneurship or other activities.

What You’ll Receive

  • A three-month, full-time paid internship.
  • Base salary, paid pro rata.
  • £100 for every qualified discovery meeting you book.
  • Practical sales training and regular coaching.
  • Direct exposure to an experienced startup leadership team.
  • Experience selling an innovative AI-enabled technology product.
  • The opportunity to help shape an early-stage UK sales operation.
  • The potential to progress into a permanent BDR role subject to performance and business requirements.

This opportunity would suit someone who wants more than general work experience. We are looking for ambitious graduates who want to prove themselves, develop quickly and establish a long-term career in technology sales.
