As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality primary care services to the practice’s growing patient list. You will work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals, utilising your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Responsibilities
- Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, and prescription management.
- Make autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred by other healthcare workers.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Develop personalised care plans in consultation with patients, adhering to current disease management protocols.
- Provide health education to promote patient well-being.
- Record clear and accurate consultation notes to agreed standards.
