We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Psychiatrists to join a growing mental health services across Sheffield. Opportunities are available across various specialisms, including Adult Mental Health, Child & Adolescent (CAMHS), Old Age, Liaison, Forensic, and Substance Misuse Psychiatry.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with clinical teams, contribute to service development, and provide leadership and supervision to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care
- Provide clinical leadership and support to junior doctors and allied health professionals
- Participate in on-call rota and clinical governance activities
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- CCT in General Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, or Old Age Psychiatry (or within 6 months of completion)
- Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status (or willingness to obtain)
