We are seeking an experienced and caring Weekend OOH Vet to join a out-of-hours team. In this role, you will provide emergency veterinary care for a variety of cases over the weekend. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing a broad range of emergency cases, have excellent clinical skills, and possess strong communication skills to liaise with pet owners and colleagues effectively. Key Responsibilities: Provide emergency and critical care to animals during weekend day shifts. Assess and manage a range of medical and surgical cases, making clinical decisions and providing immediate treatment as necessary. Work collaboratively with the OOH team, ensuring the highest standards of care are met. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners, explaining treatment options and ensuring they are well-informed. Keep accurate and detailed records of consultations and treatments, ensuring compliance with practice protocols. About You: You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with previous experience in emergency and critical care, ideally within an out-of-hours setting.
