High-performing Norwich Autism Assessment Service, a well-established diagnostic hub serving East Anglia, seeks experienced locum Non-Medical Prescribers (NMPs) to deliver comprehensive gold-standard autism assessments within a mature, multidisciplinary framework. The service manages referral volumes from CAMHS, adult mental health teams, primary care, and education providers, specialising in children and adults across the full autism spectrum.
You will work alongside consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, speech & language therapists, and specialist nurses using validated tools like ADOS-2 Module 3/4 and ADI-R, with all cases supported by comprehensive collateral history (school reports, developmental history, informant questionnaires).
Key Responsibilities:- Gold-standard autism assessments (ADOS-2 clinical interview)
- Medication management for co-occurring conditions
- MDT working with psychologists and SLTs
- NICE-standard report writing (template support)
