We are seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a team in the heart of Bedfordshire. Our practice is well-equipped, including separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, a fully equipped theatre, x-ray suite, and ultrasound machine. As a qualified MRCVS with small animal experience, you’ll provide exceptional care, lead a supportive team, and build strong client relationships. We’re looking for someone who shares our values of trust, care, and progress. Key Responsibilities: • Keep clients informed with clear and concise updates. • Maintain the highest standards of practice and regulatory compliance. • Prepare accurate client estimates, manage payments, and minimize debt. • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to enhance commercial performance. • Lead, mentor, and develop your team to improve skills and performance. • Inspire the team by introducing new practices and standards. • Manage clinical handovers and coordinate patient transfers when necessary.
