We are looking for an experienced Consultant General Surgeon to cover a fixed-term, part-time role (2 days per week) based in Gillingham. You will be working within a reputable service providing a varied caseload across general surgery in a collaborative, well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient and day-case procedures, including lumps & bumps, hernias, and colorectal cases
- Deliver safe, patient-centred surgical care
- Work closely with nursing and theatre teams to ensure excellent clinical outcomes
- Contribute to a high-quality, efficient surgical service
We can tailor work to suit your availability, including: Full-time or part-time contracts, clinic-based roles or remote triage work, weekend-only sessions.
Requirements
- GMC-registered Consultant with CCT (or equivalent) in General Surgery
- Proven experience in general surgery, including minor procedures and colorectal work
- Strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence
