Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, including junior medical staff and allied professionals.
- Act as Responsible Clinician for a small number of in patients, overseeing their care under the Mental Health Act.
- Undertake comprehensive psychiatric assessments of new referrals and formulate evidence based treatment plans.
- Participate in on‑call rota to support inpatient and community services.
- Contribute to risk management, case discussions, and clinical governance activities.
- Support service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
