Cannabis Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification and a specialist interest in medical cannabis to join our forward-thinking clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cannabinoid-based care in the UK. As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, you will assess, prescribe, and monitor cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs) for a range of eligible patients. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you’ll use your clinical expertise to support safe and effective treatment plans while adhering to UK regulatory frameworks.

 Key Responsibilities:

\\n

\\n
• Conduct remote and/or in-person consultations with patients eligible for CBMPs

\\n

• Prescribe medical cannabis in line with MHRA and GMC/NICE guidance

\\n

• Monitor treatment outcomes and make evidence-based adjustments to prescriptions

\\n

• Provide expert advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals

\\n

• Ensure full compliance with controlled drug regulations and clinic protocols

\\n

• Contribute to research, audit, and the development of clinical pathways in medical cannabis care

\\n

Requirements:

\\n

\\n
• GPhC registered Pharmacist (essential)

\\n

• Independent Prescriber qualification (essential)

\\n

• Proven experience in prescribing or dispensing cannabis-based medicinal product

\\n
