Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician - Surrey in Whyteleafe

We are currently looking for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) to join a dynamic team in Surrey. In this key role, you will ensure that all medications are accurately dispensed and meet the highest safety standards. You\’ll work closely with the pharmacists and dispensary staff to uphold their commitment to excellence and outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medications in line with legal, clinical, and safety standards.

• Support the dispensing process to ensure medications are prepared and verified correctly for patient delivery.

• Maintain accurate prescription and order records, promptly addressing any discrepancies.

• Assist in the training and mentorship of junior pharmacy team members.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent as recognized by the GPhC).

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• Proven experience working in a pharmacy setting with accuracy checking responsibilities.
