We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) to join a supportive and forward-thinking pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACT to make a real impact in a growing, community-oriented pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct final accuracy checks on dispensed medications to ensure full compliance with legal, safety, and operational standards.
- Support the dispensing process, verifying that medications are prepared and labelled accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of prescriptions and immediately report discrepancies.
- Mentor and support junior staff to maintain a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of regulatory updates and best practices.
What Weβre Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent, per GPhC standards).
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Proven experience in accuracy checking within a pharmacy setting.
