We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a lovely team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for a year. In this varied and fulfilling role, you will assist in providing high-quality care for small animals, helping with routine procedures and emergency cases alike. As part of their dedicated team, you will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities—from assisting in surgeries and procedures to providing client education and support. You’ll thrive in a team where your expertise is valued, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to both our patients and their owners. Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assist in delivering a wide range of veterinary nursing duties, from anaesthesia and surgical assistance to patient monitoring and post-operative care. Inpatient Care: Provide care and comfort for hospitalized animals, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best care possible. Client Communication: Educate and support clients on their pets’ care, from post-surgery advice to general health tips, offering a reassuring and professional approach. Diagnostic Assistance: Support the vets in diagnostics, such as blood tests, imaging, and other medical procedures. Practice Efficiency: Ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations, maintaining patient records, and supporting with administrative tasks as needed. Team Support: Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure a seamless experience for both clients and patients, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
