The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are working with a forward-thinking and inclusive GP practice located in Birmingham, committed to delivering patient-centred care with a strong focus on innovation, prevention, and clinical excellence. They are currently seeking a motivated and clinically driven GP Pharmacist who is either undertaking or has recently completed an Independent Prescriber (IP) course to join their dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication reviews and support medicines optimisation strategies.
- Assist with prescribing audits, repeat prescribing processes, and formulary adherence.
- Provide clinical support to GPs and practice staff in managing patients with chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, asthma, diabetes).
- Support patients with medication queries, adherence, and education.
- Develop prescribing competencies under supervision (if still completing IP course).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and practice development.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an accredited Independent Prescribing course.
