Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for adults with complex mental health needs
- Develop evidence-based psychological formulations and personalised treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality psychological therapies in individual and group settings
- Apply CBT alongside additional therapeutic modalities suited to the patient group
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused, person-centred care
- Review and evaluate treatment plans in line with patients’ changing needs
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Minimum of five years’ post-registration experience
- Training and experience in CBT
- Training in at least two additional therapeutic modalities
- At least one therapeutic intervention relevant to the patient group
- Experience assessing and treating adults with complex mental health presentations
