ADI.TV are excited to offer several work experience placements at Lap of Lights 2025 at Silverstone Race Circuit. Lap of Lights—produced by ADI.TV—is a drive-through, full-production experience around the world-famous Silverstone track. ADI are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Lighting Crew members for a 5–7 day work experience placement. By joining our production team for this year’s event, you’ll work alongside our lighting partner and their team to support the load-in of one of the UK’s most popular winter attractions, helping deliver an amazing experience for thousands of guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, rigging, and focusing of lighting fixtures throughout the course.
- Run and secure power and DMX/data cabling in line with lighting plans.
- Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure all lighting elements are operational.
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out basic on-site repairs.
- Support the technical team during the lighting load-in.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all production and site safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in lighting, technical theatre, live events, or production is preferred but not essential.
- Basic understanding of lighting equipment, cabling, and safety practices.
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
