Great events start before the audience arrives. They start with people who know their kit, care about the details and make sure everything is ready to perform.
We’re looking for an experienced AV technician who wants to make a real mark at STORM.
We deliver corporate events of all sizes, combining technical production, creative thinking and brilliant customer service. Our warehouse is at the heart of that delivery. You’ll help shape how it works and play a hands-on part in driving STORM forward.
If you love technology, enjoy solving problems and regularly think “there’s a better way to do this”, we’d like to meet you.
Make your experience count
You’ll take ownership of equipment preparation, help raise technical standards and share your knowledge with the people around you. Your ideas will help improve how we prepare jobs, care for our kit and develop our next generation of technicians.
Working closely with Production and Technical teams, you’ll see your preparation turn into successful events, with opportunities to support onsite delivery when required.
What you’ll get stuck into
- Preparing, testing, labelling and packing audio, video, lighting and associated equipment so jobs leave complete and show-ready.
- Spotting shortages, clashes and faults early, helping solve problems before they reach site.
- Keeping returns moving, equipment maintained and stock records accurate.
- Improving layouts, workflows, loading and unloading so the warehouse runs smoothly and safely.
- Mentoring junior technicians, apprentices and new starters, sharing the practical knowledge that makes a good technician great.
- Exploring AI, automation and smarter systems to help us work more accurately and efficiently.
What you’ll bring
Professional AV industry experience is essential. You’ll know live-event equipment and understand what it takes to get it ready for a busy production schedule.
Just as importantly, you’ll bring initiative, sound judgement and pride in your work. You’ll be someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly and keeps standards high when things get busy.
Why STORM?
Your experience will matter here. You’ll help build a stronger team, improve the way we work and make a visible difference to the events we deliver.
Bring your technical knowledge, your ideas and your enthusiasm. Help us make every job better than the last.
STORM: Service driven. Technically excellent. Creative thinking.
