Rigging Services is a major supplier of rigging equipment and design solutions for the theatre, live event, conference, exhibition, visitor attraction, film and television industries. Based in East London, West London & the Midlands, we supply professional rigging solutions for sale or rental to clients anywhere in the world, coupled with outstanding support aided by our overseas business partners.
Rigging Services now has a fantastic opportunity for a New Hire/Sales Controller at our London South East branch. This role requires the right candidate to liaise with new and existing clients, advising and creating orders for the sales and hiring of equipment whilst working alongside technicians for inspections and testing of equipment. You will have the ability to initiate and manage longer selling processes partnered with excellent relationship building skills and have hands on in your approach to work with a positive outlook.

Duties:
- To prepare and present timely customer quotations
- To offer technical advice with regard to equipment requirements when requested
- To source and develop external suppliers for hires/sales
- To handle and deal with customers/enquiries and complaints in an efficient and pleasant manner
- To develop the branch profile by adhering to company policy with regard to proactive sales procedures and project management
- To liaise with workshop foreman and/or branch manager with regard to work schedule and status of hire/sales equipment available
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous working knowledge of rigging equipment or rental environments would be a major benefit
- Self-motivation
- Excellent communication and ICT skills
- Flexible attitude to working
