This is not a 9 – 5 job, events happen 24/7.
Gallowglass, Europe’s largest and award-winning crewing company, is looking for new team members to work on exciting projects in the Live Events industry. Are you friendly, enthusiastic, physically very fit, with excellent spoken English and a “can do attitude”? If so, you should be working with us!
What we do:
Every year we work on between 8,000 and 10,000 events - private parties, weddings, corporate (AGMs, product launches etc), film & TV, sporting, festivals, theatre, exhibitions, outdoor...you name it and we are there and you could be part of it! You get to see how events are set up and behind the scenes at iconic venues.
This means that you could find yourself doing pretty much anything, but it will include:
- Assisting with the installation and removal of sound, lights and AV equipment
- Building and dismantling stages and scenery
- Laying temporary flooring and seating
- Loading, unloading trucks
It’s fun and tough in equal measures. Every day is different, and you work with talented, creative and fun people. If you are prepared to get stuck in, this could be the job for you.
You must be over 18 and physically fit.
We give:

- Starting pay of £15.08
- Skill payments on top of hourly rate for plant operators, drivers, CSCS card holders, etc.
