The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 Β£ per year.
The D-Prep Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that all SFX and Laser equipment is thoroughly prepared, tested, and ready for deployment across live events.
This position requires a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical skils, a keen eye for problem solving, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a wider team.
You wil be responsible for carrying out system checks, identifying recurring faults, implementing service schedules, and maintaining the high standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilise basic electrical and mechanical fundamental skils
- Liaise with Technical and Operational Managers to understand tasks
- Identifying D faults that are reoccurring issues
- Have a keen eye for complex technological problem solving
- Complete system checks and testing prior to truck loads
- Using your own initiative and implementing service schedules
- Maintain consistency and standards across your work
- Respond quickly to technical issues in short time frames
- Be comfortable working alone or in a team as wel as working with other departments
- Assist with preparation and testing of SFX and Laser equipment prior to deployment
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience working in live events, touring, or production environments
- Ability to work long, irregular hours both early and late
- Strong communication, teamwork skils, and problem solving under pressure
- Ability to relocate to near our Oak Mill HQ
- Full UK Driving Licence
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Previous employment within a technical type of role
- Any relevant certifications that might contribute to the position
- An education based around the live events industry
- Experience with SFX or Laser systems
- Work around live event environments
