As part of our Product & Engineering Support team at our Denham site in Buckinghamshire, the Product Support Engineer plays a key role in providing technical liaison and product investigation support to customers around the world.

The Opportunity
As a Product Support Engineer, you’ll be an important point of contact for our customers, helping to investigate defects, offer practical support and provide technical advice where needed.
You’ll also work closely with Design and Product & Engineering Support teams to identify the specialist test equipment and tooling needed for maintenance, testing and operating checks on ejection seats. This is a varied role where you’ll help customers, solve problems and provide guidance whenever it’s needed.
This role is based onsite at our Denham site.
What You’ll Do
- Customer liaison tasks to include support of Field Service Engineers as required.
- Assist in defect investigation including documenting and researching root cause of in-service failures and oversee corrective actions.
- Provide reactive technical support to customer (internal and external) enquires in a timely manner and provide status updates as required.
- Provide formal communications, creating Special Information Leaflets (SILs) and Technical Information Letters (TILs) as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical knowledge of MB products with a clear global understanding of in-service practice and policies.
- Knowledge of Product support philosophies/techniques.
- Confident communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar and vocabulary and the ability to express information clearly and effectively.
- General experience of working and participating in a team.
- Excellent problem solving/investigative skills.
- Strong Excel expertise, competent Access user (‘lessons learned’ database gradually being migrated to SAP), SAP.
