The Opportunity

Due to continued expansion and strong market demand, they are seeking a full‑time Solar PV Installer (Carpenter/Roofer) to join their installation team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to build a long‑term career in renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install Solar PV systems on domestic, commercial, and agricultural roofs.
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding project progress or changes.
  • Work closely with the team lead and support colleagues as required.
  • Coordinate with the electrical team to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Complete all work to a consistently high standard within allocated timeframes.
  • Prepare and submit all documentation required for project completion and grant applications.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in roofing or carpentry.
  • Solar PV installation experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Full clean driving licence with willingness to travel to various project sites on both sides of the border.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Comfortable working at height; physically agile and safety‑focused.
  • Motivated to learn, develop, and progress within the company.
  • Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights certifications.
