The Role

We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator / Specialist to join our People team and work closely with the Head of People. This is a true People generalist role, with a strong operational focus and plenty of scope to learn, experiment and improve how we do things.

In this role you will

  • Run the day‑to‑day People Operations function, supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring HR processes, documentation & records are accurate, compliant, well‑organised, and built to scale.
  • Own hiring operations end‑to‑end: ATS management, scheduling, coordination & candidate experience; partner closely with hiring managers and the Head of People to continuously improve hiring workflows.
  • Manage and optimise People systems & workflows, track key lifecycle moments (onboarding, probation, reviews) and proactively automate processes using tools, integrations & AI.
  • Maintain clean, reliable People data; support reporting across headcount, hiring & People metrics; use insights to improve decision‑making and operational efficiency.
  • Support a clear, consistent employee experience by maintaining People documentation, onboarding resources & internal communications that make it easy for employees to navigate how things work.
  • Support the upkeep and continuous improvement of People policies & compliance processes, ensuring they’re practical, accessible & aligned with how the business actually operates.
  • Take pride in creating a well‑run workplace – support light office & facilities coordination (e.g., catering suppliers & building contacts) as part of the overall employee experience.

  • You’re systems‑ and process‑minded, with a strong interest in automation & efficiency.
  • You’re curious about AI & new tools and excited to explore how they can improve People operations.
  • You’re data‑minded and comfortable working with spreadsheets, systems & metrics.
  • You combine operational rigour with strong people judgement – able to handle sensitive moments with empathy and know when a human conversation matters more than a process.
  • You’re trusted by others – able to listen well, handle sensitive situations with discretion & apply sound judgement beyond what systems or data can tell you.
  • You thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments and enjoy supporting teams across the business.

Location & working style

This is a hybrid role, with 1–2 days per week in our London office (Dalston). You must be London‑based & happy collaborating in person as part of the People team.

Compensation

£28,000‑£30,000 base salary (*Based on previous experience).
