We have an opportunity available for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Hindley Green, Wigan as an Order Processing Clerk. In this role you will perform daily Order Processing activities ensuring that all deadlines are strictly adhered to. The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis working 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Flexible working hours; Standard working hours are 8am-4pm, earlier/later start/finish times available. You will also be required to work a couple of hours one weekend in four (on a rota basis).

The role will be office based during the training period. Following this there will be an option for hybrid working; to work from home 1 or 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform daily Order Processing activities as per the schedule
- Deal with retailer enquiries in a timely and professional manner to foster good working relationships.
- Deal with customer enquiries efficiently and effectively to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
- Ensure that all Databases and core business systems are maintained promptly and accurately so that the information can be utilised by other departments within the business.
- Report/escalate any Order Processing related issues that may impact on the day to day operations.
Our ideal Order Processing Clerk will have the following skills / experience:
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English
- Previous experience of working in a customer service/ administration environment desired
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task
- Administration and organisation skills
- Professional and flexible manner in the workplace
