Prodrive is behind some of the greatest names and achievements in motorsport over the last 40 years. We are currently supporting three World Championship factory programmes across a variety of motorsport disciplines and our Design Office is now expanding to support a growing portfolio of future programmes.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Validation and Verification Lead to join our Vehicle Engineering group, providing knowledge and expertise to our variety of Motorsport programmes. In this role, you will support the development of best practices, guide the implementation of robust validation and verification methodologies, and work closely with engineering teams to embed these processes across future programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Enhance and lead the V&V Engineering function from the ground up, defining structure, capability, and roadmap.
- Champion best practices in simulation, analysis, and verification, including FEA, CFD, MBD (Model-Based Design), and system-level validation.
- Integrate FMEA, documentation, and risk management into early-stage programme workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with Design, Performance, Powertrain, and Systems Engineering to ensure holistic system validation across programmes.
- Develop toolsets, processes, and metrics to measure performance and compliance with technical standards.
- Drive a culture of engineering rigour, traceability, and continuous improvement.
- Interface with programme leads, customers, and regulatory bodies to ensure stakeholder confidence in all deliverables.
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have extensive motorsport experience, ideally within a similar role with management/mentoring responsibility. You will be educated to degree level within Engineering and have experience designing major vehicle systems and components for different motorsport projects and have a genuine passion for what they do. A combination of mathematical analysis and logical thinking will underpin your decision-making processes.
