At Prodrive we believe there’s no limit to what can be achieved when the brightest minds come together. Joining one focused and driven team, you will challenge boundaries in order to change the game for our customers. As the world’s leading independent motorsport company—behind some of the sport’s most iconic names and achievements of the past 40 years—we continually evolve as new programmes come online. With that success comes surplus stock from completed programmes. This presents a clear commercial opportunity, and we’re looking for an entrepreneurial sales professional to turn that inventory into revenue.

You will take ownership of liquidating excess inventory while maximising return. This is not a traditional sales role — we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can identify value, create demand, and move quickly within motorsport and adjacent markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy to sell surplus motorsport parts and inventory for maximum profit
  • Identify target buyers across racing teams, collectors, historic racing, restorers, and specialist resellers
  • Create attractive product bundles and offerings to increase sales value
  • Leverage existing motorsport network and build new relationships to accelerate sales
  • Accurately assess parts, applications, and potential value across different series and eras
  • Manage pricing strategy, negotiation, and deal execution
  • Track sales performance and provide regular reporting on revenue and inventory reduction
  • Collaborate internally to understand stock history, specifications, and provenance

Our ideal candidate will bring a strong background in motorsport, whether from engineering, sales, operations, or a closely related discipline, with a deep understanding of motorsport components, vehicle systems, and legacy programmes. You will be well connected within motorsport circles, with established relationships across teams, suppliers, and collectors, and a proven commercial instinct with a natural “wheeler‑dealer” or entrepreneurial mindset. Comfortable buying and selling specialist technical products, you will be adept at spotting opportunities, creatively bundling offerings, and moving inventory efficiently. A confident negotiator and self‑starter, you thrive in fast‑paced, autonomous environments and are driven by results.

What can we offer you?

  • An attractive salary which will grow in line with your ongoing development and impact
  • 25 days holiday (which increases with long service) with an opportunity to purchase up to 15 extra days
  • Training opportunities for continuing professional development
  • Car and pension salary sacrifice schemes
  • Paid time off for volunteering
  • Consultations with our Fit 4 Life expert
  • Social events throughout the year
  • Exclusive company discounts
  • Life assurance
