Key Responsibilities
- Stripping, preparation and assembly of multi cylinder race and rally engines, from multi-cylinder Aston Martins, V6 turbocharged and four-cylinder turbocharged RX Renault Megane, to the iconic turbocharged flat 4.
- Taking the engine right through the build process from stripping, cleaning, inspection, preparation, reassembly, dyno and pre-delivery inspection.
- Ability to work on all areas of the engine, e.g. Cylinder heads, pumps, throttles.
- Build the engines to specification and within homologation tolerances.
- Maintain build records and lifecheck system.
- Keep engine build records and lifing up to date.
- Identify and address quality issues.
- Liaise with engineers when required.
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within Motorsport, building race or rally engines within a professional engine building environment. A motor vehicle or engineering qualification is advantageous but not essential. You will be able to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines, be an excellent team worker and be flexible and willing to attend race events if required.
