Our Brand & business has 25 years' experience in creating merchandise collections for clients across a range of sporting sectors. We offer an end-to-end service from design, production and quality control, through to supporting sales and marketing activity and distributing collections worldwide. Expansion into new Licensing sectors has resulted in an opportunity for a Licensing Executive to focus on bringing in new licensing opportunities for our clients. This will cover all sectors from clothing, accessories and model cars. You will have a keen eye for detail and a strong licensing background, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support the team with product development lifecycle from researching potential opportunities, contractual negotiations and bringing the product to launch in market.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Business Development Manager and the wider team.
- Conduct online research and approach new sectors to offer client brand expansion.
- Obtain market data and customer feedback.
- Liaise with the clients and the factories, both verbally and in writing.
- Implement measures and processes to collate and store data for approvals.
- Achieve budgeted revenue and profit margin on Licensing within the year.
- Create and maintain organised records and documentation of all products and specifications.
- Provide feedback to the Management team on market opportunities and developments.
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will be process-led and highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and experience working within the licensing market. You will have strong communication skills and time management skills with the ability to deal with changing priorities and be computer literate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential. An understanding and interest in licensed merchandise products and the sports industry, and a qualification in business or administration is advantageous but not essential.
