We are recruiting an Electrical Engineering Technician to join the Engineering Electrical Design Team. The role supports the design, build, and verification of the vehicle’s electrical systems, delivering high-quality harnesses, hardware, and diagnostic support to ensure reliable performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design of electrical systems both on and off vehicle (harnesses, sensors, control units).
  • Build of development wiring harness and bench testing equipment, including Lab-cars and HIL Rigs.
  • First build of pre-production harnesses.
  • Diagnosis of electrical faults, working through problems methodically.
  • Produce documentation (internal and customer facing) to assist with electrical installations.
  • Defining requirement, specifying, and implementing electrical hardware.
  • Liaising with other departments and customers to support the build and testing of parts, systems, and vehicles.
  • Support onsite car build with troubleshooting of electrical and electronic issues.
  • Support events (Race and Rally) when required. This is not a travelling role, but some event support might be required.
  • Creation and use of Cirris CH2 HIL Test routines.
What are we looking for:
  • Strong motorsport understanding of electrical systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of motorsport (System 25) and Automotive wiring components, tooling and build practices.
  • Basic understanding of various communication protocols such as CAN, LIN & Ethernet.
  • Fluent in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate both independently and in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and support cars on event or test.
