Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are recruiting for an experienced warehouse and assembly operative for our clients based in Pershore. As a Warehouse Worker, attention to detail is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be providing support to the warehouse and assembly team and have experience with operating hand and power tools, testing equipment and mechanical work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress a career in logistics, stores and assembly within the manufacturing sector.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receiving goods in and unloading shipments
- Inspection and verification of incoming materials for quality and accuracy
- Picking and packing of orders
- Assembly and testing of products for shipment
- Preparing shipping documents and labelling goods
- Operation of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Accurate recording and organisation of stock inventory to designated areas
- Follow all company safety protocols and guidelines
- Ensure that a clean and organised work area is maintained at all times
Skills and Experience:
- Warehouse experience an advantage but not essential - full training will be given
- Experience and the ability to use hand tools and power tools with some mechanical knowledge
- Able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock and in inventory management
- Strong organisational skills
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory tracking
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible team player
Hours of work: full time 40 per week - Monday to Friday
