Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking an experienced MRP System Manager for our well-established clients based in Pershore, a leading manufacturer supporting the UK's defence sector and other critical industries Rail, Automotive and Agriculture.

The successful candidate will have the ability to take ownership of the implementation of Sicon manufacturing systems across operational functions and maintenance of the integrity of the system and generating data working closely with the Procurement, Engineering and Production teams to ensure the full implementation of Sicon 200 across the production portfolio and entire manufacturing process optimising production workflows.

Main Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain the Sicon Manufacturing system to align with company production requirements.
  • Utilise and navigate Sicon Manufacturing software to track stock levels, generate accurate operational and financial reports and monitor production progress.
  • Responsible for monitoring inventory to ensure manufacturing is accurately tracking stock levels from procurement to production and despatch.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and Procurement teams ensuring that BOMs are created and that all parts contained in the BOM are structured and set up in Sicon Manufacturing.

Liaise with all teams to ensure all details remain up to date and accurate.

  • Apply and develop Works Order routings.
  • Ensure all Departmental Production Managers are updated of the requirements of their teams to drive communication and employee engagement with Sicon Manufacturing.
  • Responsible for Production Tracking.
  • Analyse production costs and overhead expenses analysis for improvements
  • Ensure written processes are in place for production through Sicon Manufacturing
  • People management - conduct regular performance reviews to support employee development
  • Provide support to onboarding and recruitment of staff

Skills &Experience

  • Proven working knowledge of ERP systems (ideally Sicon Manufacturing ) with in-depth knowledge of Bill of Material structures for planning and manufacturing
  • Experience of implementing and maintaining ERP/MRP operating systems (eg Sicon Manufacturing) within a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent organisational, analytical and numerical skills with knowledge of P&L and Balance sheet
  • Experience of training inter-departmental leads/others in the workplace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of IT proficiency
  • Project management experience

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level and/or recognised certification in Technology eg. MRP/ERP systems
  • Candidates qualified by experience - 5 years+ will be considered.
  • Salary £40 - 50K pa DOE + Company Benefits
  • Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07:45 - 17:15, Friday 07:45 - 13:00 (Early Finish)
  • Temporary to Permanent Contract
