Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Compliance Officer for our well-established clients based near Evesham who specialise in monitoring and control systems as part of UK national infrastructure. Supporting the Head of Operations, the Compliance Officer ensures that electronic products, components and manufacturing processes adhere to legal regulations, health & safety standards and environmental directives and ensures the smooth day to day operation of the business, including all internal auditing requirements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance to the company's quality management system to ensure retention of ISO certifications, including internal auditing and action of outcomes as required.
  • Develop and implement environmental and health and safety requirements into the management system with the view of attaining certification.
  • Provide supporting documentation to comply with UVDB Achilles accreditation.
  • Monitor and action compliance to health and safety at work legislation through an annual plan of work including CoSHH, fire and accident recording and investigation.
  • Monitor and action compliance to environmental regulations including WEEE and RoHS reporting and compliance to policy.

Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to Degree level.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a variety of roles that demonstrate required experience and responsibility.
  • Specialised knowledge in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management systems eg. ISO 9001 internal auditor trained; management representative essential.
  • Good proficiency in use of IT systems and an experienced Excel user.
  • Use of other Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word.
  • Able to work under pressure and good problem-solver.
  • Pays strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Highly organised and able to use initiative.

Salary: £30-35k pa DOE + company benefits

Hours of work: Full time (Part time will be considered on a pro-rata basis)

Temporary to Permanent Contract.
