Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking an experienced Assembly Operator to join our well-established clients based in Worcestershire, a leading manufacturer of complex and safety-critical engineering parts for the defence and transport sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in using their technical ability and hands-on skills to assemble components and be able to work from technical drawings. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment according to technical specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure standards are met.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures at all times.
  • Have knowledge of and the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Finish products to company quality standards.
  • Work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Adhoc duties as required from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in assembly.
