JOB TITLE: Well Team Leader (Drilling Superintendent) - Aberdeen (Permanent Staff Position)
Responsibilities- Project Well Engineering
- Provide technical support, direction, and management to the project teams in order for them to achieve successful execution and completion of each project.
- Manage the project team responsible for well engineering deliverables both in the UK and/or Internationally.
- Commercial
- Understand the contractual terms for the project, providing weekly/monthly activity reporting to management ensuring projects are delivered within cost and schedule.
- Ensure that actual project costs and other pre-defined KPIs are monitored and benchmarked against offset data and pre-defined objectives.
- HSEQ
- Promote Zenith\'s vision and values to internal and external stakeholders, in particular for Health, Safety and the Environment.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner complying with Zenith Policies and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, and Industry Guidance Notes.
- Exhibit safe behaviours at all times when on company property and/or on company business.
- Apply the required HSEQ Management System as appropriate to the project(s).
- You will have a bachelor\'s degree in relevant engineering discipline, supported by current industry qualifications including IWCF.
- You will have The Right To Work In The UK as no sponsorship will be given.
- Comprehensive experience across a well engineering environment including supervision of wellsite operations.
- Working within a project driven environment either gained directly in an operator or service company.
- Well engineering experience gained in the UK and internationally.
- Proven drilling & completions experience within an offshore environment.
- History of staff management and development. Mentoring junior engineers.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise daily/weekly workload to achieve common goals and deadlines.
- Team-player, sharing ideas with other multi-disciplinary team members.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Tact and diplomacy to deal across various levels and comfortable consulting with Client Management, Partners and with third party contractors.
- Willingness to travel.
- Able to demonstrate good critical thinking skills.
