Our Client, a leading oil and gas operator with assets both in the UKCS and overseas have a fantastic job opening for a Senior Process Engineer to work with them on a Temporary Agency Worker contract in Aberdeen. The role and its responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:-
Provide engineering support to modifications and projects across the full life cycle, from studies and FEED to detailed design, ensuring the company delivers quality projects to asset requirements.
Support the maintenance of the lifecycle technical integrity and operational risk management of the offshore installations (within discipline) by applying appropriate engineering standards, procedures and guidance documents.
Prepare and develop key process engineering documents including piping & instrumentation diagrams, basis of design, locked valve register, line list and operating manuals
The successful incumbent will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in Chemical Engineering.
Candidates must have knowledge of engineering practices, codes and standards and their application to the management of lifecycle asset integrity and process safety.
Understanding of key legislation and regulatory framework applicable to UKCS offshore regime with knowledge of performance standards, assurance and verification activities are essential for this role.
Candidates with experience supporting decommissioning operations in the UK would be preferred by the client.
