We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver fun, structured, and progressive coaching sessions for players aged 2–16, ranging from group sessions and small-group training to 1-to-1 development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated coach who is passionate about player development and making a positive impact.
Qualifications
- Essential: FA Level 1 in Football Coaching
- Essential: FA Safeguarding for Children
- Essential: FA Introduction to First Aid Training
- Essential: Enhanced DBS Certification
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic, age-appropriate football coaching sessions.
- Develop players’ technical skills, tactical knowledge, and overall game understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback to support both individual and team progression.
- Motivate and inspire young athletes to achieve their full potential.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all participants at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents, players, and colleagues to maintain positive relationships.
About You
- Strong knowledge of football techniques, tactics, and the Laws of the Game.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in football coaching or competitive playing (desirable, not essential).
- A passion for football and a genuine commitment to youth development.
- Professional, reliable, and able to adapt to different age groups and abilities.
