ProcureOne are partnering a successful and growing organisation to help them recruit a new Procurement Specialist to the team. This role plays a pivotal role in supporting the business across a range of areas. This will include:

  • Leading on procurement projects
  • Improving supplier due diligence
  • Developing sustainable procurement policies
  • Enabling Procurement across Professional Services and Consultancy
  • Negotiation of legal contracts
  • Driving IT Procurement initiatives
  • Supporting ESG and Sustainability initiatives
  • Develop Procurement process, policy, quality and risk

This opportunity will suit Procurement professionals with a range of indirect experience but ideally a lean towards Professional Services, Consultancy Services and Subcontract Management. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience as an Enabler and Facilitator. Preference will be given to those from relevant industry sectors such as Rail, Defence, Energy or Consultancy. Ideally you will have proven experience building excellent stakeholder relationships with technical / engineering stakeholders. Suitable individuals will have high levels of literacy, be comfortable working in regulated environments with significant governance and controls. This is a great place to work and is a rare opportunity for someone who wants to impact and drive value in a small and friendly team.
