An exciting new position has arisen for a Supplier Relationship Manager to drive Supplier Performance for IT / Technology across the organisation. You will be part of a team taking responsibility for the oversight of the day to day service delivery of tier 1 technology vendors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing service delivery against KPIs and SLAs to ensure suppliers are providing the correct service.
- Driving IT supplier accountability and continuous improvement.
- Acting as a conduit between the technology stakeholders and external suppliers finding creative ways to overcome problems.
- Taking a consultative, responsive and emotionally intelligent approach to bridge the gap between the business and vendor expectations.
- Ensuring appropriate measurement and reporting on supplier performance for BAU and change against contractual obligations in terms of SLAs and delivery milestones.
- Holding the suppliers to account and ensuring they prepare and provide regular status and governance reports against key metrics.
- Supporting a range of supplier meetings for senior stakeholders, ensuring an appropriate agenda, papers from both parties and appropriate minutes.
- Working collaboratively with the IT subject matter experts to ensure the right level of involvement from them in the supplier interactions.
- Helping colleagues understand supplier obligations and what their expectations should be while allowing suppliers an opportunity to present potential changes that may be of advantage to the company.
- Where possible, ensuring value add from supplier.
- Working with the Commercial, Vendor Management and Legal teams closely to ensure a smooth pathway through governance, contract tender, award through to live service and exit.
- Working with subject matter experts, change professionals and business owners to feed into the planning and budgetary processes, ensuring current and potential costs are fully understood.
This position will suit individuals with proven Supplier Management experience ideally from within a regulated environment. The position will be 3 days office based and 2 days remote. The organisation offers a fantastic range of flexible benefits.
