Supplier Engagement Lead

ProcureOne are partnering with an established business and they embark on growth and expansion to help them recruit a new Supplier Engagement Lead to the team
In your role as Supplier Engagement lead your responsibilities will include:
Put in place Business Change Initiatives to drive the overall Supplier Engagement Strategy
Developing robust and long term supplier relationships
Ensure supplier interactions are efficient, high quality, and aligned to overall business programmes and goals
Embedding new value add and strategic relationships improving communications and collaboration
Acting as an interface between Procurement, Contract Management, PMO, Quality and SRM colleagues to manage strategic supplier relationships and align them with business demands.
Evaluating performance, measuring and monitoring KPIs for high profile, critical suppliers.
Facilitate Contract Management process.
Increase Supplier Management Best Practise through influence and innovation
Ensure Continuous improvement by improving overall cost and delivery of products and services.
This is a highly visible and influential role, so we’d really like to hear from excellent communicators with strong Supplier Relationship Management experience. You will have a natural problem-solving mindset with the ability to ask questions, listen and build robust, first class Supplier Relationships.
Ideally your background will focus on Direct Products / Commodities rather than Services
