ProcureOne are currently partnering a leading organisation to help them recruit a new Procurement Officer to their Procurement function. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner key stakeholders to help drive value across the Supply base. This will include:

  • Develop effective relationships across the organisation to ensure the right supplier base is in place that delivers the right quality, price and due diligence.
  • Support procurement colleagues to develop Category strategy (across goods and services).
  • Support organisation and wider business entities on all sourcing and supplier management activities to include tender processes, contract negotiation, contract award and supplier performance management.
  • Help to conduct market analysis, negotiation and contracting activities with suppliers on strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with other teams to help mitigate risk and ensure overall compliance.
  • Take responsibility for accruing and assimilating records to create management information.
  • Lead project groups through tenders.
  • Deputise for Senior Procurement Officers where required.

Suitable candidates will have around 12 – 18 months previous purchasing or procurement experience (either direct or indirect) and be looking to progress and develop. CIPS sponsorship will be offered.

This organisation promotes a hybrid working model so flexible home working is very much part of their culture. You will spend around 1 day per week in the Sussex office. Please only apply if you already have Right to Work in the UK as the Client requires this.
