ProcureOne are currently partnering a Global organisation to support the recruitment of a new Procurement Category Manager to their team.
Working with internal and external stakeholders across the group you will drive category strategy for Packaging. Your role will include:
- Develop, lead and execute category strategy for packaging across the business.
- Evaluate new suppliers and negotiate new contracts.
- Project manage the procurement stream for new products launches liaising with operations, finance and products teams.
- Drive cost through the category but with a focus on ESG initiatives and sustainability goals.
Suitable candidates will have proven Packaging Category Management experience or will be a senior buyer with a generalist background looking to take the next step in a different category area.
