We are recruiting a Senior Buyer to lead on procurement and category planning for the DIY category for a leading UK retailer. You will play a key role in developing exciting product ranges for the retailer both online and in-store. This will include:

  • Working collaboratively with Suppliers to drive collaboration and innovation through the DIY category.
  • Lead on new promotions with Suppliers.
  • Product ownership from selection through to sale, including New Product Development.
  • Ensuring the most effective multi-channel retailing.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to deliver and exceed margin, profit and growth targets.
  • Knowledge of Far East Sourcing would be advantageous.
  • Previous proven experience supporting the DIY category (examples include Paint, Electrical, Security, Hand Tools, Sealants and Adhesives).

You will be a team player and must be able to commute to the London HQ 5 days a week.
