A growing West Sussex based organisation are currently looking to recruit a Senior Buyer on an initial 6 months fixed term contract basis. You will be a Procurement Professional / Buyer with Direct Commodities sourcing experience.
Your role will cover:
- Drive value through the Supply Chain to deliver a high performing Supply Chain network
- Identify new suppliers (for Commodities / Parts) through market intelligence to meet changing business needs
- Prepare RFI and RFQ documentation and manage end to end procurement process
- Manage Supplier Relationships including Audits and Risk Assessments to ensure business continuity
- Maximise continuous improvement projects through Supply Chain
- Build robust internal and external stakeholder relationships
You will have previous Direct Buying or Procurement experience from a Manufacturing or Engineering environment with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. You must be able to work in an agile environment and have excellent communication skills. You must have current UK Right to Work and live within 1 hour commute of the Gatwick area.
